Asheville, NC Foodie Heaven

Asheville was a great place to visit with its own unique local culture. One thing that stood out to us besides the humungous Biltmore Estate was the FOOD of Asheville! Today we ate at French Bread Chocolate Lounge and enjoyed a salted caramel liquid truffle and a lavender creme brûlée! Then for dinner we met our friends Jonathan and Hannah at Tupelo Honey Cafe and ate their delicious pecan encrusted goat cheese, fried green tomatoes, sweet potato pancake with fried chicken and Shawn had the meatloaf! It left us rolling back to the campground so full and happy! Another thing I loved was locally brewed cherry cidar ale! So good! We are off tomorrow to Bryson City, NC to ride the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad and we can't wait!
